His father was John Christian Schroeder (Johann Christian) and his mother was Amelia Schroeder, maiden name LEMME. Hugo Schroeder's parents were both born in Germany. The family may have been Roman Catholic. I am looking for a birth record, record of baptism or a census record for this Schroeder family in Nauvoo before 1874. In 1874 they moved to Los Angeles, CA.
