Researching the family of John E. YOUNG. John (4GF) was born 1788, died June 1840, and buried at LaHarpe, IL. He married Mollie MITCHELL in 1809 and their children were; Agnes, William, Jane, James, and John. All but the father and William were buired in various places in or around Mercer/Lawrence counties. William married Elizabeth McGOWN in 1826 and their children were; Margaret, Mary, Jane, James, Elder, Isabel, Robert, and Kisia. I understand the father was a preacher and went to IL late in his life. His family settled in the Mercer County area of PA about 1805. Very interested in learning when and where he was borb and why they went to IL. Any info is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Larry
