    1. [ILHANCOC] (no subject)
    2. I am researching the Cain, Standley/Stanley, Griffitts & Kirk families that were found in Hancock Co, IL. Hazel Harper Sutton started this research many years ago by visiting courthouses, cemeteries and family members....she did it the hard way...before computers. I am fortunate to have her records as my foundation.

    3. Deanna, In regard to Oakman's. I had a great Aunt Hazel, which I don't have her data put in my genealogy program yet, but I know she was married to a man with the last name Martin, and then married Lewis Richard Davis. She lived in Plymouth for years. I will be going through my papers in the next week or so. Please email me and remind me as I am in the middle of tax, etc. Thanks Donna -- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG Free Edition. A Nancy MORRIS was living next to William D MORRIS in Sangamon Co., Ill. In the above mentioned court papers Squire was being charged for rape, but it seems that later, a warrant was put out for the eledged victim who never showed up for court. So I think he was cleared of the charges. There was a Jane MORRIS subpoenied, the niece who was the eledged victim was a Martha E MORRIS, so I Know there is at least one more brother out there someone, The court was late 1867-9, The warrant was put out on Martha in 1870. The court was in Fulton Co. So far my MORRIS have been in Hancock Co., Pike, Mason and Fulton, mostly Hancock and Fulton Co.

    1. [ILHANCOC] Roll Call: WILLIS, MAUK, GIBSON, JENKINS
    2. Nancy Willis
    3. My husband's great grandfather John William WILLIS b. Kentucky, 1832, married Martha Ellen MAUK in 1855 in Hancock County. They lived there until about 1886 and along with other families migrated to Allen County, Kansas. They became members of the Primative Baptist Church. Prior to being in Hancock County, John William Willis was in McDonough county. His mother, Nancy, married after the death of [Unknown] Willis, Robert Boyd. She married third, John Gibson. Need given name of [Unknown] Willis who probably died in McDonough County before 1840 as Nancy Willis is head of family on the 1840 McDonough county census. Thanks, Nancy Willis

We will be on the west coast untill we get used to being on the road ( in otherwords we are just going to be practicing for a while until we ger used to it. The kids are putting a pad on the property for us so we ww will have a place to come in for a landing. We had a 3,000 SQ foot home and I can not believe how long it is taking me to get things packed up and put in 3 storage spaces until we find another home, hopefully back in Missouri or Arkansas close to my sisters. > > We have quite a few new people and I want to start a roll call to see who is looking for whom. I am sorry it has taken so long to have a roll call but it has been so hard for me. After we get moved into our fifth wheel and get on the road, I plan on getting back to the cemetery records and finish them up. I still have about a 10 inch stack so I have a long ways to go. I hope you all forgive me for not communicating sooner. > > I am slowly comming back and will get things done as quickly as possible. I have all your email saved and will get to them as time permits between packing. We don't have to be out of the house until the end of may. Thank heaven. I can not believe I have so much stuff.
