    1. [ILHANCOC] Roll Call--Arbuckle/McCoy/Clark?
    2. Mary Keller
    3. Am watching the roll call for the Arbuckles or McCoys. James and Isabella McCoy are buried in the Browning Cemetery east of Denver IL. I have such a very strong suspicion that Isabella is a sister of my gggrandmother, Margaret Clark. Both women were from Ireland, had the maiden name of Arbuckle and their birth dates are such that they could have been sisters. Margaret was born in 1798 and Isabella in 1790. Is there anyone with Arbuckle or McCoy genealogy that we might compare? I have found the name of Archibald Arbuckle as the father of Margaret. If only we could find a census that would provide the names of his children!

    2. Roberta, I do have limited info on the Carnes family. Some of it is info I have gotten out of the LaHarper newspapers. I have a sheet on Henry Carnes with very little info. His wife name is Anna and there are four children Thomas, Jesse, Lillie M., and Earnest. It shows Henry as being a farmer. No other info on it. I have a birth announcement from the LaHarper of a daughter born to Charles Carnes on Thursday Dec 1, 1921. Other articles with small amount of info Daisy Carnes, George Carnes, Hazel Carnes visiting her Granmother Mrs. Henry Carnes, a death notice on Mrs. Elisabeth Carns wife of James Carns who died of consumption., Jesse Carnes, John Carnes, Louis Carnes. Birth notice of a son born to Owen Carnes on Thursday, July 28, 1921. Ruth Carnes. Thomas and George Carnes visiting Harry Spangler. Also, have a Diana Carnes who married a William Spiker. Hope this helps. Joyce

    1. Re: [ILHANCOC] Roll Call - Bedford, Royles, McArthur
    2. Pat Thomas
    3. My GreatGreatgrandfather David Bedford moved to Hancock county, Walker township after the death of his third wife, Charlotte Durand in about 1843 and lived there until after 1870. His fourth wife Mary Knapp moved to Montana before 1880 with her grandchildren from daughter Jane, who had married Charles Royles in 1873 in Hancock county. Her other daughter Mary, married Benjamin McArthur and they lived in Adams county, Illinois until after 1910 when they moved to Montana as well. David and Mary also had a son, Jasper David, he moved to Montana with his mother, but died in Canada, where his father had been born. I have very little information on David Bedford, aside from marriage data and census data. I don't know if he died in Hancock county or in Montana or on the way. He had little or no contact with his daughter from the third marriage who grew up with a guardian and lived and married in Knox county, Illinois where her mother and maternal grandfather had died. I have more information on David's parents and ancestors. His first and second marriages are complete mysteries aside from the name of the bride.
