The will was dated 25 August 1871. Witnesses to the will were Philip Siepel and Joseph Fawver. William Brown's wife was "Julyan," then later she was listed as "Julia Ann." Also in the will were the following names: daughter Hetty An daughter Rebecka Montague daughter Nancy Hamilton daughter Susan Sprage son Samuel Brown son William Brown son Ruben Brown I noticed similarities in first names, but have not examined dates you list. I'm looking for any information about John Williams, born in 1791 NC who moved to Union Co., SC with his parents around 1800-1810, and married an unknown woman there, the mother of son Lemuel Rhodes Williams, born 1814 SC. John, Lemuel, his mother and possibly more children, migrated to Hancock and McDonough Counties, IL by 1829, stopping in Trigg Co., KY where Patrick McCorkle Williams was born in 1817. Daughter Elizabeth Williams was born in IL in 1829, possibly Sangamon Co. Any information about John Williams' wife will be appreciated. In 1836 he married socond wife, Letitia Jones, of Trigg Co., KY. John helped build the Methodist-Episcopal Church in Majorville, Hancock Co., IL, near the present day Fountain Green, where he farmed. Lemuel Rhodes Williams married Cassander Simmons, born in 1818 KY. I'm trying to find her parents and siblings. Her name is listed on a Bible page of Joshua and Ruth Cuncan Simmons from KY, but next to her name is the handwritten "not Joshua's daughter" so we need further information! Anything about any Simmons in this part of IL might help. Lemuel and Cassander were married in 1834 in Sangamon Co., IL, and moved to Adair Co., MO in 1870 where they died. Sally Williams

Hi! I am replying to request #2 in Digest #48. I have Printy ancestors and would be interested in Leatha PEEK/PEAK b. abt. 1871, married John PRINTY on 8 June 1890 and had children: Chloe Printy and Charles Hartman Printy. These names are not familiar to me and I have a lot of Printy info. I have not worked on that family for a while, but will check it out after Easter. I know there are some names of Towles in the Printy family. Thank you. Coleen Dochterman.
