Il Obituaries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/HancockObits/321 Surname: Girard, Hubinger, Weismann ------------------------- We have just discovered that my husband's great-grandfather was a Charles F. Weismann, and he lived in Keokuk IA, just across the river from Hancock County. Charles would have been born around 1860, and he married Katherine A. Hubinger, whose family built a large starch manufacturing company in Keokuk. Charles had a brother named William, who died before 1900, and he was married to Mary Hubinger. The family were Catholic, as far as I can tell. So far, that's all I know, but Keokuk and Hancock County were pretty much all one community, so there might have been a relationship.
