Married by Silas Rhoades,JP 0 (The License reads: James L Lasater and Mrs Amanda Moye, however, the Return reads William L Lasater, both of Gallatin County, State of Illinois)---who was James L Lasater? DEATH: WHITE COUNTY ILLINOIS , Book A, No. 570, P.44 Date of report July 15, 1879. William L. Lasater, A white male age 35 died June 13, 1879 at 4 P.M. He was born in Hamilton County, IL and had lived in the State all of his life. He had been ill with pneumonia for 14 days with Dr. Frank J. Foster, M.D., Carmi, IL treating him.
