    3. Joyce, I don't understand just what you are trying to do or copy to, but might help you get it from FTM. First open your FTM and go to the Family page that you want to make a copy of. I like using the "Genealogy Report" at the top of the tool bar. In version 6 it is a little blue document with a 1 and 2 on it. After clicking on it a dialog box may appear unless it is clicked do not show. This will explain, Choose 1 of 3 different genealogy reports- Select format: Genealogy report format. You may choose to install notes & Source Info. Select Options. Change how generations are numbered..Select Contents: Select Options. After selecting Genealogy Report, I have selected Contents at top of tool bar and clicked on how many generations to show. Next click on Options in the Contents window and you will be allowed to fill in with check marks the facts, notes, etc, that you also want to include. Next go to and click on "Edit" at the top left of the top tool bar and scroll down to "Copy Genealogy Report". The report can now be pasted into another document. I like "Word" as it keeps the format and can be saved out as a file to a floppy disk and then e-mailed as an attachment, or printed out by almost anyone. It can also be dropped into an e-mail as I will attempt now but not sure how it will hold up or stay centered. Example: Descendants of William Gholson Generation No. 1 1. I'm trying to transfer/copy some previously unattached records from one file to another-- have the people in, now trying to get the notes/facts pages copied. Is there an easy way to do this? This is rather painful the way I'm doing it. Thanks, everyone. Joyce Escue Culver
