> Yes, these Phipps did come from Sumner Co., TN. I'm thinking Henrietta was related to William Phipps through his son William, who died shortly after marriage, though I have yet to prove it. She was born in 1804 before William died. She may have been taken in by James and Mary or other Phipps family members, as she named her second son James. She married at the same time as Lock Phipps children did. Levi's military pension papers stated some of the information. She is buried in the Wooldridge Family Cemetery in Lasater/Crook Twp., Hamilton Co., IL. Peg Spencer
