Hi Everyone! Great news!! In yesterday's Chicago Sun-Times it was announced that the 1930 census has been released. For those of you in the Chicago area, both the Chicago Public Library and the Newberry Library have ordered copies. According to the article in the paper, the libraries should have copies within the next week or two. The National Archives at 73rd and Pulaski, in Chicago, will have the full census for all states and territories. If I read the article correctly, the libraries will only have the Chicago area census. Appointments are required at the National Archives and can be booked in four hour segments. Carol Janes --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - online filing with TurboTax
