Crouch Township, Hamilton County, IL named for: Adam Crouch: Was a native of Virginia, and came to this county area about 1816. Mr. Crouch served as one of the county commissioners. He lived north of McLeansboro, near the Crouch road, and the road and township where he lived took his name.
