As ridiculous as this is going to sound, please tell me that is not his name listed at Vicksburg! I have sat here each evening and read those letters. The ones that you sent tonight were so sweet, so I was looking at the dates. I realized he was not too far from going home, and it must really be on his mind. I casually went through the roster for Vicksburg that you sent, and almost started crying myself when I saw his name! Thanks so much for sharing those.
