With regard to the posting on Skillet Bowl, perhaps this is in reference to Skillet Fork? The Skillet Fork is a small river that runs through the northeast part of Hamilton County. The "bottoms" that I am aware of are near Springerton in that same area, just east/northeast of Beaver Creek. The Beaver Creek School is nearest Blairsville, and is now a K-6th grade school named, as I recall, for a creek that runs in the Blairsville area. If you start at the county seat of McLeansboro, look toward the northeast corner of Hamilton County and work back south and west, mainly west, to see these areas.
