Rev. George Lee Tuggle 87-year-old McLeansboro resident, Rev. George Lee Tuggle died at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 in the Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center in McLeansboro. He was a semi driver for Pepper Ridge Farms at Downers Grove, IL. He also drove a school bus for the Hamilton County Schools, and served as a pastor for Brush Harbor Church, Enfield Baptist Church and Norris City General Baptist Church, and was a member of the Enfield General Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II and received one Silver Battle Star. Surviving are his wife Rosalee; one daughter, Shirley Ingram of McLeansboro; one brother, Charley of Goreville, IL; one sister, Katherine Mitchell of McLeansboro; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Rev. George Lee Tuggle will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Interment will be in Brush Harbor Cemetery near McLeansboro, with graveside military rites by the American Legion Post #106. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 27 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice, and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. \
