MCLEANSBORO -- Wayne Roberts, 62, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at his home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, in Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with the Rev. Dale Hood officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at the funeral home. In honor of Mr. Roberts' lifelong love of books, memorials may be made to Hamilton County Junior/Senior High School Media Center and will be accepted at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Carole Roberts; parents, Joe and Lorene Roberts of Newton; daughter, Stephanie Gray and husband, Bill of Evansville, Ind.; and granddaughters, Hunter Phelps and Kelcy Gray.
