Elizabeth Ann Marks, 72, Eldorado, passed away 4:26 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. Mrs. Marks was a nurses’ aide. She was born Jan. 9, 1940, a daughter of Homer and Eva (McDaniel) Tedford. Elizabeth married John Paul Marks on March 21, 1970; he preceded her in death on July 9, 2011. There will be no public visitation. A private family burial of ashes will be held at a later date. Survivors include six daughters, Vicki Bond and husband Michael of Herrin, Katie Lenard and husband Robert of McLeansboro, Sandra Cueva of Eldorado, Rosemary Mitchell and husband Robert of Carmi, Daisy Ritchie and husband Mark of Toledo, Ohio, and Delta Marks and companion John Rice of Eldorado; three sisters, Betty Drew of Mc-Leansboro, Alice Springer and husband Don of Pawnee and Sue Ted-ford of McLeansboro; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eldorado. She loved to read, play games and take rides in the country. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Roger Lee York and Henry J. Wiles Jr.; two brothers, Robert Tedford and Junior Tedford; and three grandchildren. Arrangements for Elizabeth Ann Marks were under the direction of Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
