Family members of Floyd and Ella White, who lived southwest of McLeansboro, gathered for the accompanying photo in 1962 at the Whites’ home. Floyd was a bus driver for McLeansboro Township High School for a number of years, and the Whites were longtime members of Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church, says their son, Millage White of Carmi.
