-— Stephen Wayne Stull, 46, of Carbondale passed away 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Marion. Mr. Stull was a restaurant cook and manager. He was born May 24, 1965, in Alexandria, Va., the son of Freddie and Virginia (Jecko) Stull Sr. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one son, Nathan Tyler of Marion; one brother, Freddie (wife Jennifer) Stull of Gainesville, Fla.; one sister, Melissa (husband Bernard) Sloan Sr. of Burr Hill, Va.; nieces Lauren Stull, Alicia Landes and Cheryl Sloan; nephews Bernard Sloan Jr., Daryl Sloan and Joshua Stull; great-nieces Ann Landes and Isabella Sloan; and great-nephews Darren Copas, Justin Sloan and Trenton Spears. Stephen was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Kristin Stull. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
