Mary Lou Tennison 78-year-old McLeansboro resident, Mary Lou Tennison, died at 3:33 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was an artist as well as a member of Home Extension and the Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include: one son, Justin Tennison of McLeansboro; three daughters, Colleen Elzy of Union, IL, Kathleen Tennison of Lakeworth, FL, and Charleen Onstad of Black River Falls, WI; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-granchildren; and one brother, Darrel Ragsdale of Lakeworth, FL. Per her request, there will be no public services. She will be cremated and private family services will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the local animal shelter and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home. Harre Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
