Debra S. Russell 55-year-old Carmi resident, Debra S. Russell, died at 8:05 a.m. Friday, March 2 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Surviving are her husband David of Carmi; one son, James Michael Shelton Jr. of Carbondale, IL; three daughters, Lisa Shelton of Carmi, Belinda Vote of New Athens, IL and Amanda Shelton of Carmi; two brothers, Kenneth Minder of Norris City and William (Bill) Minder of Granite City, IL; three sisters, Mary Toms of Carmi, Linda White of McLeansboro and Maggie Harmon of Carmi; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services for Debra S. Russell will be at noon Monday, March 5 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday, March 5 until the time of service at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Memorials may be made to the family, and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
