    3. Kenton Lee Neal, 49, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, in St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia. Kenton was born June 14, 1962, in Carbondale, the son of Fred and Sondra (Weismann) Neal. He was a proud graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School. Kenton was a resident of Warren G. Murray Developmental Center in Cen-tralia, where he also attended Kaskaskia Workshop. He loved going to St Louis Zoo. Kenton received several medals from the Special Olympics while participating in softball and wheelchair races. Survivors include his mother, Sondra Wilkins of Herrin; father and stepmother, Fred and Luan Neal of Carterville; sister, Tracey and Bill Glenn of Herrin; two nieces, Taylor and Michaela Reel of Herrin; stepbrother, Carl E. and Catherine Wilkins of Lake of Egypt; stepsister, Carla and Jim Nilson of Herrin; and special cousins, Sidney Christianson of Geneva and Sue Ward of Gig Harbor, Wash. Kenton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otto and Virginia Wiemann; his paternal grandparents, Taylor and Wanda Neal and Mildred Neal; his stepfather, Carl Wilkins; and his stepsister, Donna Spees. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with the Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 to time of procession to cemetery Tuesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
