Lois E. Isaacs, 84, of Benton, a former Macedonia resident, passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012, at the Benton Rehab and Health Care Center. Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. There will be no visitation; those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery. The Morton & Johnston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born in Sepulpa, Okla., on March 17, 1928. She married Tracy Lee Isaacs on Nov. 7, 1953, and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1999. Mrs. Isaacs was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Isaacs is survived by her son, Tracy L. Isaacs Jr. of Mt. Vernon; two grandchildren, Caleb Allen Isaacs and Elizabeth Mae Isaacs, both of McLeansboro; and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and stepfather, Gladys and Fritz Gardner; and a sister and a brother.
