Melba Jane Pemberton 102-year-old McLeansboro resident, Melba Jane Pemberton, died at 9:59 p.m. Friday, July 20 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was a secretary for Frank Bonan, Attorney. Surviving are a son, Robert Wayne Pemberton of Mt. Vernon, IL; one sister, Opal Dale of McLeansboro; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Melba Jane Pemberton will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 23 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Memorials may be made to the 1st Christian Church.
