Mildred G. "Millie" Frazier, 101, of Benton, IL, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2012 at Franklin Hospital, Benton, IL. Mrs. Frazier was born on August 24, 1910 in West Plains, MO the daughter of Lewis and Attie Crider. She married Jack Frazier in 1930 and he preceded her in death in 1963. Mildred was a housewife and worked as a cleaning lady and waitress. She was a member of the Webb's Chapel Methodist Church, McLeansboro, IL and enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving relatives include two sons, Leonard Frazier, West Frankfort, IL, Larry (Margaret) Frazier, Salem, IL, ten grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Jackie Frazier, one grandson, William Neal Frazier, and two sisters, Beatrice Hiler and Valmas Caplinger. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL with Pastor Greg Shelton officiating.
