In Journal Star of Peoria, Illinois on Feb.7, 2012 ROSEMARY FAUGHT *PEKIN *- Rosemary Faught, 81, of Pekin passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at Pekin Manor. She was born April 9, 1930, in Thackery, Ill., to Clarence and Carrie Higginson Harrison. She is survived by her children, Debbie (Al) Chavez of Peoria and David (Toni) Faught of Pekin; sisters, Wilma Harrison of Dahlgren and Pauline Kennedy of Dahlgren; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald Faught; granddaughter, Janessa Faught; and sisters, Juanita Hunter and Monda Harrison. Rosemary worked for over 15 years in medical records at Methodist Medical Center. She was a secretary at Carver Clinic and last worked at Heartland Community Clinic, retiring in 2009. An accomplished pianist, Rosemary enjoyed knitting and her weekends with friends. However, her greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved immensely. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, where the service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at 11 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior at the church. A luncheon will follow the service. A private graveside service will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin at a later date. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to the church in her name. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co., Pekin/Peoria, is assisting the family with arrangements.
