Sheldon Thanks for the additional info. I didn't have Della or Missouri's maiden name. On the 1900 HCI census, it's pretty clearly written as "Rella", not "Retta". How sure are you of her name? http://search.ancestry.com/iexec?htx=View&r=an&dbid=7602&iid=004113763_00402&fn=Lorten+B&ln=Dewitt&st=d&ssrc=&pid=37150054 Sandy On 2/11/2012 12:59 PM, Sheldon Jones wrote: > I have Retta as d/o Lorten Bowers DeWITT and Della HARRELSON (they mar. 27 > Sep 1892 HCI?) > Lorten s/o Sylvester DeWITT and Missouri Ann SHELTON > Sylvester s/o Thomas Jefferson DeWITT and Amazone DAVIS > Missouri d/o Sylvester A SHELTON and Melissa SMITH > Della d/o Jasper Nathaniel HARRELSON and Nancy Harriet MOORE > Jasper s/o Nathaniel HARRELSON and Frances VISE > Nancy d/o Alfred MOORE and Elizabeth SHIRLEY > > Leslie s/o George H DAILY and Anna LESLIE... > > -SRJ > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: ilfrankl-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:ilfrankl- >> bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Sandy Bauer >> Sent: Saturday, February 11, 2012 11:00 AM >> To: ilfrankl@rootsweb.com >> Subject: Re: [ILFRANKL] REYNOLDS OBIT >> >> Does anyone know if Rella DeWitt's parents are Lorten B.
