Elzora L. Keen, 94, of Wayne City, passed away 2:10 p.m. Feb. 10, 2012, at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon. She was born July 13, 1917 in Keenes, the daughter of John Loyd and Anna (Garrison). She was a seamstress and a member of Ten Post Oak Church. She is survived by son Jerry Keen and wife Phyllis of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Patsy Slover and husband Dorris of Xenia; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Keen in 1990. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with Ralph Wilton, Richard McCormick and Bill Miller officiating. Burial will be at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
