She was the retired owner of Allen Hatchery. Surviving are a daughter, Luan Crable of Mt. Vernon, IL; one grandson, Alexander Crisel of Champaign, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Velma Allen Johnson will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 16 at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at McLeansboro.
