The bride-to-be is employed as a dental hygienist at Aloha Dental in Carbondale. The prospective groom is employed at Walgreens Distribution Center in Mt. Vernon and also serves in the U.S. Army Reserves. The wedding is planned for May 5, 2012, at 4 p.m. at First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro with a dinner-and-dance reception to follow at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.
