— Edna Mae Lamb, 92, of Granite City, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. She was born Wednesday, March 17, 1920, in Dahlgren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Lamb; her parents, Godfrey and Sara Gertrude (Dollins) Seng; her brothers, George, Henry, Paul and Charles Seng; and her sisters, Claudine Daily, Mammie Heard and Jewell Rhine. She is survived by her husband, Arvil Daily of Granite City and many nieces and nephews. Edna retired from the Army Depot in Granite City and from the Federal Government Coast Guard in St. Louis. She was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights. She was a fifty year member of the Queen City Chapter 697 O.E.S. and a twenty five year member of the Harmony Chapter #112 W.S.J. Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society, Shriner's Children's Hospital or Hospice of Southern Illinois Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Kurrus Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Phillips and the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. O.E.S. service at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville.
