June 13, 1961 (date of obituary) Mrs. Minnie May Roberts Pemberton Jonesboro, Ill.-Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 at the chapel of Norris & Son in Jonesboro for Mrs. Minnie May Pemberton. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Mrs. Pemberton, who died Thursday at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Murphysboro, was born in Hamilton County, Illinois on Sept. 9, 1899, the daughter of Hobert and Elizabeth Roberts. She is survived by a son, William, a daughter, Mary Pemberton and four grandchildren all of Ware and a sister, Mrs. Anne Matthews if Lincoln, Ill. The body may be viewed at the Norris Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
