Jace Robert Bowling, infant, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis.He was born Oct. 16, 2009, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Jeffrey and Cara (Redfern) Bowling.A private family service will be held today at St. John's Church in Dahlgren with Monsignor Joseph Lawler officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Dahlgren.In addition to his parents, Jace is survived by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Sue Redfern of Streator; paternal grandparents, John and Vicki Bowling of Dahlgren; great-grandparents, Helen Hart of Dahlgren, Carolyn Bowling of McLeansboro; an aunt and uncle, Lori and Jim Isermann of Streator; an uncle, Jim Bowling of McLeansboro; and cousins, Ellie and Jacob Isermann of Streator.He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Arza Hart, Jim Bowling, Ocie and Ruth Seeders and Herb and Mary Redfern. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jace Robert Bowling to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center - Dallas Heart Center or Dana Brown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or mailed to Cardinal Glennon, Office of Development, 1465 S.
