Wilma Smith, 68, of Fairfield, died at 5:35 a.m. Oct. 1, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Ind.She was born on April 29, 1941, in Sims, the daughter of Everett Williams and Sybil Floyd Fenton. She married Harold Smith and he preceded her in death in 2003.Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Kelvin Smith and wife Diana of Mt. Carmel; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Richard Fenton of Rochelle; and two sisters, Betty Glenn of Fairfield and Elsie Austin of Sims.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a half sister.Mrs. Smith was retired from Champion Lab in Albion. She was a member of Victory Outreach Center.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. George Musgrave officiating. Burial will be in Crouch Cemetery.Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.
