BENTON - Ramona Sears, 76, of Bowling Green, Ky., died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, in Medical Center at Bowling Green, Ky. Ramona was born March 1, 1933, in Princeton, Ind., to Floyd Kimbro and Gertrude Voight Manley Munsell. She married William R. Sears, and together they shared 61 years of marriage. He survives. She was a homemaker. Ramona attended Eastwood Baptist Church, enjoyed the neighborhood animals, especially Leo, and loved star gazing and reading. Survivors include her husband, William R. Sears; one sister, Josephine Kirk and husband, Bill, of Carterville; one brother, Leonard Manley and wife, Sonya, of Lexington, Ky.; stepsister, Eloise Fehn of Evansville, Ind.; brother-in-law, J. R. Sears of Thompsonville; nephew, Chris Kirk and wife, Leah, of Hamel; niece, Susan Austin and husband, Paul, of New Lenox; and several cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Commodore Munsell; and her stepbrother, William F. Munsell. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, in Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at J. C.
