Carmi Times Tue Jul 28, 2009 Carmi, Ill. - Al Moore, 70, Carmi, passed away at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. He was born Sept. 13, 1938 in Dahlgren, the son of John Alvin and Mary Alice (Knapp) Moore. He was an examiner for the Illinois driver's license station in Carmi. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Hadi Shrine. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Timothy Proctor of Hollywood, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tammy Moore of Cape Coral, Fla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Gail Moore. There will be no funeral service or visitation. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
