Helen Crow, 75, of McLeansboro, died at 12:52 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.She was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Saline County, the daughter of Thomas and Grace (Edwards) Mayberry. She married Lewis Crow and he preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1995.Mrs. Crow was retired from the housekeeping dept. at Hamilton Memorial Hospital where she worked for many years.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery near McLeansboro.Mrs. Crow is survived by two sons, Charles Crow and wife Kay of McLeansboro and Robert Crow and wife Janice of McLeansboro; two daughters, Barbara Harvey and husband Randy of Lawrenceburg, Ky. and Mary McMahon and husband Gary of McLeansboro; two brothers, James Mayberry and wife Dee of Flora and Loyd Mayberry of Benton; two sisters, Ruby Cluck and husband Richard of Benton and Sue Brown and friend John of Carrier Mills; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Louis Crow; a granddaughter, Michelle Crow; and a brother, Arthur Mayberry.Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements.
