Wheeler Braxton Coy Wheeler was born at 6:11 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2009, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He weighed 8 pounds, 1.7 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Braxton is the son of Amanda Kay Coy and Eric Wayne Wheeler of Wayne City. Maternal grandparents are Dennis and Karen Coy of McLeansboro. Paternal grandparents are Gene Wheeler and Kathy White of McLeansboro.
