    3. Granddaughter of Charles Beecher and Minnie Curtis (THARP) JENKINS Great GD of Wm H THARP and Lucretia H. PILSON Nola (Launius) Brown, 85, of Fairfield, formerly of McLeansboro, died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at the Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield.She was born March 28, 1924, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Jeff and Delcie (Jenkins) Launius. She married Drexal Brown and he survives.Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She was a member of RLDS Church in Fairfield.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Community of Christ Church in Fairfield with Elder Dale Warren and Elder Steve Moore officiating.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro.Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband; two brothers, Donald Launius of Fountain Inn, S.C. and Melvin R. Launius of Grain Valley, Mo.; a sister, Virginia Durham and husband Douglas of Taylors, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Doris Jean Duckworth of Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepdaughter-in-law, Alice Brown of Oswego; and five grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Delmar and J. Doyle Launius; two sisters, Vivian Cantrell and Nadine Wilson; and a stepson, Ronald Brown.Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements. Published in the Mt.
