Don and Kathryne (Newman) Woodrow will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Oct. 30. They were married at the home of Virgil and Christina Newman in Enfield by Gilbert Wilson. Charles and Mae Becker were their attendants. The Woodrows have been blessed with three children, Kelly Don Woodrow of McLeansboro, Lisa Lynn Woodrow Austin of Wayne City and Dee Ann Woodrow Hodge of Salem, and three daughter- and sons-in-law, Shelly (Compton) Woodrow, Scott Austin and Mike Hodge. They have six grandchildren, Justin, Jason and Kelsey Woodrow, Christopher and Christin Austin and Alesha Hodge. Justin and his wife, Victoria (Sutton) Woodrow, reside in McLeansboro with their two children, Hallie and Sawyer. Jason and his wife, Alison (Sentel) Woodrow, reside in McLeansboro with their three children, Grace, Annabell and Caroline, due in November. Kelsey is a senior at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. Christopher lives in McLeansboro. Christin is a sophomore at Wayne City High School.
