    2. According to my research, Hardy Willis married in White County, IL in 1819, so possibly, if Elias was his son, he had some roots there too. Also Elios Willis is listed as executor of estate of Nancy Stewart 1874 on page 95. It might be helpful to get copies if it list children's names, maybe he named one of them after his father or grandfathers, it could be another clue. But you might try looking in surrounding counties. I know I saw those names during the years I was tracking down my Willis line over in those counties. ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Sun, 6 Dec 2009 16:42:23 -0600 From: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [ILHAMILT] Hardy Willis To: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original OK - I don't see White County in Eli's line, nor Nancy Stewart, but will make a note. thanks ladybug ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Riggs" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, December 06, 2009 4:29 PM Subject: Re: [ILHAMILT] Hardy Willis > There is an Elias Willis listed on page 114 in the White Co probate book > dated 1876.
