Gail, the Willis line married into my Lane line. The Willia family came from Craven Co., NC the same as my Lane line. I don't have supporting documents but Susan Meier probably does. I have Hardy C. Willis b. 1790 Craven Co., son of Joshua b. 1750 Craven Co., son of James Willis son of Richard Willis. Hardy C and Sarah Sidney Lane d/o James Lane had 10 children. Number 3 was Eli S. b. 1822 and number 8 was Hardy b. 1837. Eli S. M. Harriett A. Gatrland and Celia was b. 1846.
