    3. Marvin Harrelson CAMBRIA - The Rev. Marvin Harrelson, 66, formerly of McLeansboro, passed away at noon Saturday, June 13, 2009, at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, in Mount Olivet General Baptist Church in McLeansboro, with the Rev. Gary Davenport. the Rev. George Calhoun and Jerry Stone officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. He was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Woodriver to Roy Harrelson and Sybil (Pittman) Harrelson. He was a minister. Marvin was also a retired butcher from Wal-Mart Supercenter in Carbondale. He was married Ruth Louise (Scarberry) Harrelson on May 5, 1973, in Tilden. He was a member of Ordained International Gospel Assemblies. He loved photography, music, cooking and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Louise Harrelson in Cambria; son, Timothy Robert Harrelson and girlfriend, Beth Casteel, of McLeansboro; one daughter, Treena Jett and husband, Dennis, of Iuka; father, Roy Harrelson of Mount Vernon; one stepgranddaughter, Kaitlyn Jett of Iuka; four sisters, Erma Gibson and husband, Dennis, of Woodstock, Cora Lee Fletcher and husband, Jim, of Salem, Cecelia Wagner and husband, Larry, of Mount Vernon and Gayla Davenport and husband, Gary, of Mount Vernon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Harrelson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Harre Funeral Home in Mcleansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
