Wedding: Feather - Trotter Cathy Feather of Wayne City and Adam Trotter of Dahlgren were united in marriage Jan. 2, 2010, at Wayne City Baptist Church. The 10 a.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Ron Trotter. Cathy is the daughter of Nick and Barbara Feather of Wayne City. Adam's parents are Ron and René Trotter of Dahlgren. The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a lovely strapless gown embellished in tiny beads, and an elbow-length veil with scalloped edges. She chose Jill Feather of Evansville, Ind., her sister, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Emma Talbert of Wayne City, friend of the bride, and Sarah Trotter of Dahlgren, sister of the groom. Serving as flower girl was Madelyn Caudle of Wayne City, cousin of the bride. The groom chose his brother, Aaron Trotter of Dahlgren, as his best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Miller of McLeansboro, cousin of the groom, and Mark Feather of Wayne City, brother of the bride. Hank Barker of Ewing, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer. A reception was held at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church for friends and family. The newlyweds enjoyed their honeymoon in the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. The bride is a 2007 graduate of Wayne City High School and is currently attending Rend Lake College for an associate's degree in nursing. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Hamilton County High School and a Navy veteran. He is currently attending Rend Lake College for a degree in heavy-equipment technology. The couple resides in Dahlgren.
