    3. Does anyone know if her father Benjamin Harrison Adam was son of James Adams and Mary Magdaline Hart (1857-1938)? Zana Lorena Adams-Williams, 90, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at 12:20 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010, at Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon.She was born in Moores Prairie Township in Jefferson County on March 21, 1919, a daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Nora Edith (Brake) Adams. She married Claude Herbert Williams on March 21, 1940, in Dahlgren, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1968. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with the Rev. Mike Speidel officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Hamilton County.Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Adams-Williams is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Hall and husband Leslie Dale of Mt. Vernon, Vera Kay Depper of Burleson, Texas, and Lanora Jane Bacon of Hempstead, Texas; four grandsons, Gary Meadows and wife Cheryl of Burleson, Texas, Timothy Hall and wife Rachel of Mt. Vernon, James Burrell and wife Dee of Bluford and Liberty Burrell of Hempstead, Texas; three granddaughters, Kelley Blacklock of Hempstead, Texas, Becky Depper of Burleson, Texas, and Rachel Depper of Burleson, Texas; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, William Harrison Adams of McLeansboro; a sister, Mary Metheny of Benson, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.Her parents; her husband; great-grandson, Billy Morrison; infant sister, Frances Adams; sister, Beulah Tate; nephew Marty Metheny and wife Sara; nephew Rocky Metheny; nephew Timothy Williams; nephew Howard Williams Jr.; and four brother-in-laws, Lowell Metheny, Francis Tate, Howard Williams and Loyd Williams, preceded her in death. Lorena was a member of East Side Baptist Church and Crossroads Community Hospital Auxiliary and also managed the gift shop at the hospital. For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or East Side Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt.
