I have date of birth for Mary Elizabeth as 1934; she is? a full sister to Charles? I would reckon the divorce would have been after her birth? I think the source of the errant 1934 birth date for Mary Elizabeth "Betty" is the Hutchcraft book. However, Betty was definitely born 9 Nov 1931 as indicated in her obituary and her SSDI record (name listed as Mary E. Allen), and she was older than Charlie. I knew Betty and, as a kid, we used to go visit her and her family in Effingham. Otha and Ellen divorced in either 1933 or 1934.
