    3. Wilma Jean Gutzler, 78, of Bluford, Illinois passed away at 1:40 P.M. on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at St. Mary Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was born on Thursday, May 7, 1931 in Jefferson County, Illinois the daughter of the late Noble and Wanda (Reynolds) Irvin. She married Louis Carl Gutzler in 1949 and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1957. Surviving family members include her Husband of 52 years: Robert DeJournett of Bluford, Illinois; Son: Ricky Paul Gutzler and wife Kathy of Dahlgren, Illinois; Daughter: Carla Jean Bryant and husband Russell of Bluford, Illinois; 5 Grandsons: Derek Houle and wife Jamie, Brandon Houle, Chad Houle, Carlray Gutzler and Rusty Bryant, Jr.; 3 Granddaughters: Chandra Ballard and husband Steve, CieJay Simms and husband Josh and Rachel McCormick and fiancee John Luther; Great Grandsons: Austin Ballard, Journey Houle, Chase Chelf, Christian Yanaz, Tiernan Houle, Dillon and Conner Luther; Great Granddaughters: Chai Houle, Torie Ballard, Kali Ballard, Destani Houle, Alanah Chelf, Serenity Bryant, Caelyn Bryant and Autumn Simms; one niece: Pam Bilderbeck of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Her parents, first husband, one brother: J.P. Irvin, and infant sister: Barbara Irvin and one nephew: Stanley Irvin preceded her in death. Wilma was a cook at Bluford Grade School for over 10 years, was an avid bowler for many years, loved bass fishing, camping and sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Bluford, Illinois. VISITATION: will be held from 5 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in the chapel at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Mr. Marty Mills will officiate. INTERMENT: Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to the American Lung Association and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
