James Robert (Bob) Becker 85-year-old Rt. 3 McLeansboro resident, James Robert "Bob" Becker died at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, April 2 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. A U.S. Army veteran of WW II, he was a retired pipeline welder. Survivors include his wife, Lula B. Becker of McLeansboro; daughters, Theresa Blasdel of Joppa, IL, Pamela Kay Barnett of Goreville, IL, Kathy King of Granite City, IL, Sunday Harrison, Robin Baynor and Tonya Lewis; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and special friends, Harl and Mona Weaver of McLeansboro. Services for Bob Becker will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro with graveside military rites performed by the American Legion Post 106 of McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro
