MCLEANSBORO - Irma M. Kreher, age 86, of McLeansboro, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born in Hamilton County on Dec. 16, 1923, a daughter of Charles and Rosalia (Anselment) Karcher. She first married Robert Breiling, and he preceded her in death. She then married Robert Kreher, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Clements Catholic Church in McLeansboro with Monsignor Joseph Lawler and Father Slawomir Ptek conducting the funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Piopolis. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the rosary at 7 p.m Mrs. Kreher is survived by two daughters, Karen Endicott and husband Curt of McLeansboro and Lois VanWinkle and husband James of Dahlgren; three grandchildren, Gary Breiling and wife Monica, Jonathan VanWinkle and Adrienne VanWinkle; two great-grandchildren, Melissa Schlag and husband Noah and Lindsay Breiling; one great-great-grandchild, Ella Schlag; and one brother, Edwin Karcher. She was preceded in death by her husbands, one son, five brothers and four sisters.
