Kevin J. Summerville, 45, of McLeansboro, passed away at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.He was born in Birmingham, Ala., on Sept. 21, 1964, a son of James and Judy (Franklin) McDonald. He married Tabitha Jackson, and she survives. Kevin was a truck driver.Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Gary Nalley officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in McLeansboro with graveside military rites by the McLeansboro American Legion Post 106.Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral home.In addition to his wife, Kevin is survived by his mother, Judy McDonald of Alabama; sons, Kyle Summerville, Kory Summerville and Kristopher Summerville, all at home; daughter, Kaytlyn Summerville, at home; brothers, Donald Summerville Jr. of McLeansboro, Roland Summerville of Deatsville, Ala., and Jimmy Summerville of Deatsville, Ala.; and sisters, Debbie Wynn of Deatsville, Ala., Marsha McLaughlin of Deatsville, Ala., and Donna Beltz of Herrin.Kevin was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the McLeansboro Eagles Lodge.
