Jackie Dial, 66, of McLeansboro, passed away at 12:35 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at his residence.He was born in McLeansboro on Nov. 3, 1943, a son of Ralph Stanley Dial and Ruby Jean (Braden) Webb. He married Patricia Ann Patterson. He was a body man employed with Teffertiller Motors, Inc. Jackie loved coon hunting. He was a member of Polk Lodge 137 A.F. and A.M.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Randall Ragan officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery in McLeansboro.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Jackie is survived by his wife, Pat Dial of McLeansboro; one son, Scotty Dial and wife Ramona of McLeansboro; four adopted children, Quentin Patterson and wife Edith of McLeansboro, Bonita Farris and husband Stephen of McLeansboro, Gail Patterson of McLeansboro and Curtis Patterson of McLeansboro; two grandsons, Oakley and Lavan Dial of McLeansboro; his mother, Ruby Jean Webb of McLeansboro; half-sister, Robyn Walton and husband Randy of Potosio, Mo.; stepbrother, Ronnie Webb and wife Flossie of McLeansboro; stepsister, Doris Hall and husband Donald of McLeansboro; and numerous nephews and nieces.He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Ernest Webb.Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
